Excerpted here:
I’m a 57-year-old man. Fat. Bald. I have a wife I like. And a boyfriend I love. I’ve been “happily” married for over 37 years. Yet I’ve been leading a secret double life since I turned 50. In the age of Lady Gaga and her mainstream kink videos, a married man in love and having sex with another man is one of the final taboos. I used to think that myself. Nobody talks about it. There aren’t books or movies about it. It’s the ultimate closet. What I’ve learned in these past few years is that men, even married men, can fall in love with men. A “bromance” can naturally involve touching and it’s completely normal. This is what men have been doing since the start of time, and what men are made to do.Full-text, here:

Annoying Facebook

How to annoy the employees of FACEBOOK: A step-by-step tutorial.
1. Open this site:
https://www.facebook.com/help/contact.php?show_form=data_requests
2. Enter your personal information
3. Make a reference to the following law:
“Section 4 DPA + Art. 12 Directive 95/46/EG”
DPA is a british law called “Data Protection Act” from 1988
4. Click on SEND
FACEBOOK HAS TO send your data within 40 days as this is your personal right following Art. 12 fromt he European Data Protection Directive. You will most likely find out that FACEBOOK knows more than it should! And you’ll also see that FACEBOOK doesn’t delete your data the way it should! And now to the annoying part: They will have to send you a CD-ROM with your data on it. Imagine them burning billions of CDs…

Post-It War!
by Locke on Oct.17, 2011, under Pop Culture
There’s a war raging in the offices of Paris.
The Guardian reports:
…across the French capital, the summer has been enlivened by a corporate collage contest known as La guerre des Post-it (the Post-it wars). The battle is between presumably underemployed office workers who are devoting large chunks of their days to sticking thousands of pink, yellow, orange and green notes on their windows to recreate pixelated images.
The war draws heavily on the nerd canon — lots of video games, with a little Star Wars thrown in. But there are a few surprises in the mix.
The Post-it revolution is being obsessively documented at postitwar.com (of course), which gave us permission to post some of the pictures here.
