I Think We’re Alone Now
by Demosthenes on Feb.23, 2010, under Film & TV
Watch the trailer for the deliciously creepy “I Think We’re Alone Now,” a feature documentary about 80′s teen pop star, Tiffany, and her bevvy of stalkers. Now all I need is for someone to make one about my life-long obsession with Taylor Dayne.
The Knave abides
by Demosthenes on Feb.03, 2010, under Film & TV
Adam Bertocci, taking inspration from Billy Shakes and the Brothers Coen, rewrote the entire script of The Big Lebowski in iambic pentameter and Shakespeare’s poetic, but archaic language in:
The Most Excellent Comedie and Tragical Romance of Two Gentlemen of Lebowski
Michael J. Fox’s Editors are Blind
by Demosthenes on Jan.22, 2010, under Film & TV
Recently, I was forwarded links to two different Michael J. Fox films where, apparently, the editors were asleep at the wheel. And in both films, apparently, the focus of this oversight seems to be the phallus of a young male.
Teen Wolf
Near the end of the film when the teen is celebrating their win, an overly excited fan exposes his penis in the background then gingerly tucks it away after the big hug.
Back to the Future III
Again, at the end of the film, Doc Brown’s youngest child (Verne) beckons viewers to come closer and then points to his “flux capacitor” (as this YouTube poster puts it).
These guys seem to have taken a page from Disney’s book.
Pants on the Ground
by Demosthenes on Jan.14, 2010, under Current Affairs, Film & TV
In what has to be the dumbest internet meme ever, Larry Plat receives his 15min of fame by singing his original “Pants on the Ground” on American Idol. The world may never be the same.
PMS, The Movie
by Demosthenes on Jan.06, 2010, under Film & TV
Every month for five days they battle a beast that rages to escape, and every month they suppress it… But once every 200 years, on February the 14th The BEAST takes over!
Wait for a few minutes in when the painfully long, but hilariously funny trailer starts.
Alyssa Milano’s Evolution
by Demosthenes on Dec.21, 2009, under Film & TV
Following the web’s reaction to the girl (or guidette) being punched on Jersey Shore, and Alyssa Milano’s very public denouncement of both violence to women and slander to her home state, we present to you Alyssa Milano’s evolution: From Jersey Shore.
Warning: may induce vomiting, sudden urges to urinate or punch the nearest Jersey Girl.
The Muppets Take Bohemia
by Demosthenes on Nov.24, 2009, under Film & TV, Music
There isn’t much to add to the headline, for fear of spoiling the fun, except to suggest that you watch for cameos by Muppets you probably wouldn’t expect to see. And a warning to put down your beverage while watching, so as to spare your computer a bath.
Between Two Ferns
by Demosthenes on Oct.29, 2009, under Film & TV
In “Between Two Ferns”, Zach Galifianakis, of The Hangover fame, has a hilarious fake talk show on Funny or Die where we uncomfortably interviews and interviews personalities from the film industry. Our personal favorite is his interview with The Road (and, apparently, Monsters Inc.) actress, Charlize Theron. Listen as she quips about her sweaty thighs and calls him a fat little garden gnome.
Don’t worry, it took me a little while to realize that the host and guest were situated between two ferns too…
Starf Leet, or Fatal Farm Movie Award Leftovers
by Demosthenes on Aug.22, 2009, under Film & TV
Fatal Farm: Spring Cleaning! We figured we’d upload a few of these rather than just delete them off our drives. Months back MTV asked us to make some shorts similar to our TV intros for the 2009 Movie Awards. We did a handful. They aired the Star Trek bit and a skit we made with The Lonely Island but passed on the rest.
