10 Shades of Love
by Demosthenes on Dec.19, 2011, under Internet
New viral trend of painting your nails to match your relationship status. I’m curious to see how viral this trend goes.
“10 Shades of Love” is simply a color-coordinated system for secretly sharing your status: paint a nail on your left hand to signify the status of your current relationship. Paint a nail on your right hand to signify the status of that special someone.
From the Tumblr (http://10shades.tumblr.com/):
If you’re new to this, take a look at the image and/or download the PDF. Share it with friends! Put it on your Facebook! Send us links to photos of your own love status and we’ll post it here.

I wasn’t sure what the Page 3 Girls were (It’s for a UK News Paper called The Sun), but here’s one of them doing an homage to the popular OLD SPICE campaign that’s been making it’s rounds…
Facial Profiler
by Demosthenes on Dec.26, 2009, under Products

In an effort to somehow tie in the idea of Coke Zero tasting the same as Coke (no, it doesn’t), the Atlanta soft drink company has released their Facial Profiler (sounds like a version of this show with a happy ending?). The premise is: If Coke Zero tastes identical to Coke, could there be people out there that are identical to you?
Ok, it’s a stretch. And a transparent ploy to gain Facebook fans and traffic (the same way people were getting Simpsonized before their movie came out). But, hey, we’ll bite. Why not…
Oh, wait…your site is down again:
Alyssa Milano’s Evolution
by Demosthenes on Dec.21, 2009, under Film & TV
Following the web’s reaction to the girl (or guidette) being punched on Jersey Shore, and Alyssa Milano’s very public denouncement of both violence to women and slander to her home state, we present to you Alyssa Milano’s evolution: From Jersey Shore.
Warning: may induce vomiting, sudden urges to urinate or punch the nearest Jersey Girl.
Goatee Saver!
by Demosthenes on Oct.06, 2009, under Products
According to their web site: The Goateesaver will revolutionize the way you shave and trim your goatee.
And while we can’t confirm that, it WILL revolutionize the way you feel about using amateur video artists to create v1r4l marketing videos for your “inventions”. This ad falls somewhere between the quality of Slap-chop Vince and using this guy to promote your products. Will the ghost of Billy Mays please save us from this madness? For S&G, the GoateeSaver can be purchased at www.goateesaver.com
AdAge’s Viral Video Tracking
by Demosthenes on Jul.06, 2009, under Internet
Advertising Age video talks about the powers of online viral video tracking systems to help reveal the top contenders when it comes to viral video exposure.
Yes, but what about viral images, emails and even videos that are sent via email (rather than YouTube or Daily Motion links)? This video does nothing to address where we believe MOST viral action takes place (in the inbox).
Regardless, enjoy.
